Prepare your claim

The key information we need

We can't inspect your new purchase personally, so it's really important that you give us as much detail as possible.

When you prepare your claim, make sure you are able to share the following information with us so we can assess it quickly.

  • Tell us - clearly describe any issues or damage you've spotted
  • Show us - drag and drop videos and photos from your desktop or add them straight from your phone
  • Add important information - upload any relevant supporting information to your claim

Images

The images you send us need to clearly show the issues you are claiming for.  There’s no limit to the number of photos you can send us, so take as many pictures – from different distances and angles – to show us the damage.

Clear, relevant images help us process your claim faster, so make sure your car exterior is clean and free of dirt before you start.

  • Photos should be taken in a well-lit area
  • Your photos should clearly show what you are claiming for
  • Always include one clear photo of the car registration
  • Keep the image free of shadows and reflections

Video

Video is an effective way of showing us any issues with your car.

  • Each video should only show one area of damage, so we know what we need to be looking at
  • Clips should be maximum of 15 seconds long
  • You can talk through what you are showing us
  • The best video type is mp4

Other important information

Depending the issue you are claiming for, we will need some or all of the following:

  • Diagnostics - diagnostic reports and any supporting information
  • Replacement costs - accurate descriptions of cost and supporting images where necessary
  • Repair costs - accurate descriptions of cost to repair
  • Other costs - including part numbers, costs and labour hours

And remember, if you collected the car, we need the Proof of Collection before we can process your claim.
